True Friend notelets...

Today I have a little mini pizza box with 6 love note sized cards in. The card was inspired by a catalogue sample and uses the True Friend stamp set. We also made a version of this at last months card club.
Using the True Friend set we stamped using Really Rust and Apricot Appeal, and also Not Quite Navy inks. The main card base is Very Vanilla, and layers up using those same colours in cardstock, Not Quite Navy and Really Rust.
The greetings are from Basic Phrases stamp set, and then stamped out using the word window punch. The punch makes adding greetings to cards even easier.
A little linen thread wrapped around just gives the texture and dimension to complete the look.
I then made a mini pizza box, in very vanilla and decorated the top with the floral image. Stamping it in the three colours and then cutting and layering added the lovely dimension and depth. A brad in Not Quite Navy completed the topper.
Finally, a quick coordinated stamp on each envelope and a beautiful gift is ready.
Thank you again for visiting today.

Christmas dimensional...

Okay, I saw this idea on another blog and finally had some time to try it. I was really pleased with the result and it wasn't as time consuming as I thought it would be!
I used the Tree Trimming stamp set and the Merry Moments designer series papers.
To make the baubles I basically used some whisper white card and stamped the image 3 times for each bauble in real red. I then cut them out and folded them in half and stuck them to form the half form. This allowed the dimensional effect to be made.
The inside was just using the same patterned papers and then two bauble images straight onto the cardstock. I gave the edges of the additional peice inside some chocolate chip ink to give some definition, and the small piece of scallop edges paper at the bottom.
The stamp-a-ma-jig is great to hang the baubles on the string!
The green is Garden green cardstock, and the small detail in each corner to the front was made using the mat pack and paper piercer.
Thank you for visiting and please leave a message so I know what you think and that I'm not talking to myself all the time!!
See you tomorrow

Happy birthday to me...

Hi everyone, nothing very crafty today as it's my birthday!! I have things to show you but I wanted instead to show you the type of card I get every year from my lovely husband!!!
Not to sound too sloshy on this crafty blog, but I couldn't ask for a better husband, but he doesn't do soppy!! In fact I am most impressed I had a card at all this morning. Card shopping is not really top of his days priorities!!
But this card is Neil to a tee!!!
Don't you just love it!!!!
I am being taken shopping tomorrow as my birthday present, which is great as I have nothing to where to convention next week!!!! Look out Gloucester, here I come!!
See you soon, and thanks for popping by.

Inspired thank you's...

I thought I would share these little note cards I have made. They are 3x3 and are the current cards that I put in with orders placed with me during October.
I have been doing this for a few months now and every few weeks I change the design.
These were inspired by my upline Amanda. She sent me a card recently which I will fish out and show you, but it gave me the idea for this little selection.
The stamp set is In my Garden, one of the level 1 hostess sets. A really pretty set of stamps that colour beautifully in whatever medium you like to use.
The little 'for you' greeting is from the Fresh Cut stamp set.
I used papers from the Kaleidoscope series papers, which are really bright and colourful. These colours then inspired the colours of the flowers.
If you would like one of these for yourself, then contact me today with your order and it will be on it's way to you.

Back to Christmas!!!

Okay, back to Christmas!!
This is my other favourite colour scheme for this time of yhear. Whipser White, Bashful Blue and Night of Navy.
This card uses Wondrous Gift stamp set. I have tried to use this set so many times and just found it quite difficult. So this idea came about when I was playing around with them.
Suddenly I really love the tree image. I have always loved the greetings in this set, the font is so clean and crisp. It suits the image theme brilliantly! Well, would Stampin' Up! do anything but that really??!!
Anyway, I have ahad a busy few days with my family and workshops. I have spent the day with my new team memeber Kerry at her launch day. It went really well and she got lots of interest for future events she is having. So well done Kerry :)
Sorry for the delay in class details, I will confirm them all in the next day or two! See intitial information to the left of the screen, but call me today if you want to have a chat in more detail.
Don't forget I have only got three dates only available for home workshops between now and Christmas.
November will be the start of a great offer from Stampin' Up! too, so grab a date now and don't miss this great opportunity.
Thank you for visiting, see you soon.
